The first step is understanding how to access our innate power to choose our response to a given situation. In particular, we must reclaim our power to place and hold our attention on whatever object we choose, rather than allow it to be hijacked by our evolutionary baggage: distraction, habit, and the tendency to focus on what frightens us. Learning how this power works and what gets in the way is the key to the entire process of manifesting the life we dream of—and making sure that dream does not become a nightmare.
